Communication Services for Over 100 Years

For over 100 years, Ringsted Telephone Company has been providing communication services to the community of Ringsted in Northwest Iowa. In 2009, we purchased Independent Networks in Armstrong, a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC). Also in 2009, we changed our name to Ringtel Communications.

In 2017, we expanded to Swea City, Iowa offering Fiber-to-the-Home within the city limits. We look to bring that same great service to rural Swea City starting in the Fall of 2020! Check back for more updates!
